The James Hotel is an independent family owned boutique hotel in downtown Saskatoon. The owners of the hotel hired us to transform an existing apartment building into a unique one-of-a-kind hotel. The James Hotel gets its name from the owner’s grandfather, and as such the owners were particularly keen on getting every detail right.

The project started with creating various mock-up rooms of what the finished product would look like. These rooms were used to sample different paints, tiles and finishes until the final products were decided upon. Once the designs were confirmed, the renovation of the 12 story apartment building began. We assisted the owners, designers and architects through this process by constructing the various rooms to their specifications before the final layout of each was chosen.
